Boarding
R Folly Farm provides only one basic boarding package. Any requirements
beyond those listed below are charged separately and performed by the barn
staff. We encourage boarders to seek training for their horses, preferably with our barn trainer or under limited circumstances with qualified outside trainers. There is a nominal per lesson/ride charge.
Our boarding agreement provides for individualized breakfast and dinner
feed with designated supplements, hay as needed, daily stall cleaning and
picking, and, weather permitting, daily turnout. Blanketing and/or booting
before and after turnout is included as well as hoof picking upon return
to their stalls. Our manager provides a nightly check on the horses.
For the riders, there are storage areas, and radiant heated tack rooms,
bathrooms and a lounge.
Additional available services include exercising, grooming, and medical
care.
